I saw this water crises coming way back in 2019 and installed Jojo water tanks in December 2019. One large tank for Municipal backup water, connected to my house with a booster pump. We go on normal with our lives during water outages. We had several outages since end of 2019 in Elarduspark, Pretoria, with the longest being 9 days. My second tank is for rainwater collection. With this I water all the potted plants every week. Planning to install a second rainwater tank in 2025. People need to prepare if they don't want to struggle. The decay of water infrastructure has gotten to the point were they just slap plasters on the leaks because the problems got to big and their is not enough funds to completely fix the system.
