The looting began BEFORE 1994 - and got steadily worse. The "students" outgrew the "teachers". SA is dysfunctional in so many ways, while JZ, CR, et al got rich, very rich, obscenely rich.
SA has potential, but not yet realisable. So we must look after ourselves until then. Off-grid, water harvesting, linking JoJos & "swimming" pools (sometimes called "fire" pools to get tax breaks) into a grand system of becoming independent.

In Settlers Park Retirement Village in Port Alfred we have ensured that every resident has at least 5,000 litres of rainwater tank storage. There are currently 365 residents in 249 cottages, and most of the tanks are full.

CAN NOT TRUST THE ANC WITH ANYTHING ...REMEMBER WE ARE NOT ALL EQUAL BEFORE THE CORRUPT LAW. REMEMBER EACH HOUSEHOLD IS SUPPOSED TO GET 6 CU M OF WATER FREE... THAT IS IN THE CONSTITUTION ..WHICH IS CORRUPT LOOKING BACK ON COURT RECORDS OR SO IT SEEMS.

We can't live comfortably in Joburg anymore without taking measures to protect ourselves from service delivery failure.
